Tennis Fiji Hosts the 2018 Oceania Closed Junior Championships

Fiji’s busy international tennis calendar culminates with the Oceania Closed Junior Championships from the 14th to the 18th of August, held at Nadovu Park, Lautoka. The OCJC is an exclusive event for the best junior players of Australia, New Zealand, and Pacific Oceania invited to attend by their respective national tennis associations.
The boy’s field is lead by Rinky Hijikata (AUS) and Dane Sweeney (AUS) who have junior world rankings of 36 and 74 respectively. Clement Mainguy (VAN) and Robert Schorr (NMI) will carry the hopes of the Pacific ranked 995 and 1507 respectively.
Valentina Ivanov (NZL) and Megan Smith (AUS) are the top seeds for the girl's field, ranked 104 and 117 respectively. Carol Lee (NMI) #213 and Saoirse Breen (FIJ) #2263 lead the Pacific charge in the girl’s draw.
