Fiji Team Ready for the Oceania Championships

Tennis Fiji is sending two men’s teams and one women’s team to next week’s Oceania Championships in Apia, Samoa. The event running from the 3rd to the 8th of September will showcase the best of Pacific tennis, with Australia and New Zealand also fielding teams.

The women’s team, consisting of Saoirse Breen, Kajol Chand, and Ruby Coffin will face stiff competition from Australia and host nation Samoa. Tennis staple Raynal Singh is joined by Sebastian Tikaram, and Devrath Narayan in the Fiji 1 team. While Fiji 2 is represented by up and comers Sumit Lal and Storm Kornish.

Fixtures will be decided by two singles, and a doubles match. With eleven nations and sixty participants competing, we look forward to an exciting six day tournament! You can follow the action here.
